The 'Somnath Temple' which is located in Gujarat, India, is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of 'Shiva' and which was opened in 1951.

Now, if you are non Hindu and want to visit Somnath temple then you must need permit from general manager of Shree Somnath Trust before entering into Somnath Temple for darshan.

According to the reports, this decision has been taken because of the security reasons.
