DU Admission Racket Busted
Four people are arrested for running a admission racket. Thus racket helped the students to get admission in Delhi University Colleges using forged documents and papers.
Delhi Police crime branch arrested accused Sunil Panwar, Mohammad Zubeir, Praveen Jha and Ranchit Khurana yesterday (29th July, 2015) for running the admission racket. During the investigation Sunil Panwar and Zubeir, a final year student of Aurobindo College, used to scout for candidates who could not get admissions in Delhi University.
According to ACP, the accused use fake marksheets, migration certificates, degrees, character certificates and other such papers to admit students to colleges.
He also added by saying, the racketeers used to charge Rs 3-7 lakh from the students seeking admission in a college and course of their choice.
