Mumbai Pune Landslide on Expressway - Killed Three
Sad News, three people killed in Mumbai Pune landslide. This major lamndslide occur near Adoshi tunnel, where the boulders fell in three cars entering the tunnel. This incident took place around 12:30 PM on Sunday i.e 19th July, 2015. The deceased are identified by police as Dilip Gopal Patel & Shashikant Dhamankar. The people who are injured are being treated at Lokmanya Hospital at Nigdi.
This landslide cause traffic congestion as both the carriage ways were blocked.
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu later announced two special trains between Mumbai and Pune to clear the traffic jam and passengers stranded due to a landslide.
