Chandigarh airport naming after Bhagat Singh - No objection for it by Khattar - CM Haryana

Chief minister of Haryana, 'Manohar Lal Khattar' told yesterday that the Haryana government has no issue for naming Chandigarh international airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh. But airport name should carry the word 'Chandigarh'. Final decision of naming of airport have to done by central government.

Last week, Punjab CM 'Parkash Singh Badal' suggested the name 'Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh' and asked the Prime Minister 'Narendra Modi' to naming of airport after 'Bhagat Singh'.
